The GTX 660 GDDR5 and the GT 750M GDDR3 are about on the same level with the 660 producing a little better FPS. This states that its the specs for the GDDR5 version of the GT 750M but its not, its for the GDDR3. The GDDR5 version outperforms the GTX 660 by a little bit. I'm running a GT 750M W/1GB GDDR5 and I can play most games on maxed out ultra settings.

Y'all are right. I've got the Alienware M14X R3, running a GT 750M W/ GDDR5 and it does out perform the GTX 660. It's a little bit better. The GDDR3 version of the GT 750M is about on the same level though and the specs above are for that version. Idk why it says its for the GDDR3. And the latest driver NVidia has released has made performance in games a good bit better. I think its the driver version 334.89 or point something, idk. I have no problem playing most games on Ultra settings.
Oh and this is for the GDDR3 version. The GDDR5 version of the GT 750m used to be pretty rare but it's more common now. That's what I'm running. But the GDDR5 version of the GT 750m is a bit better than the GTX 660, with the GDDR3 version being on the same level as the GTX 660 GDDR5.
They're both on the same level. I'm running a 750m w/1GB GDDR5 on an Intel Core I7 4700MQ processor. The GTX 660 produces a bit better FPS for some games but the GT 750 has better specs. But great graphics cards though especially with the new driver NVidia has released.
so at the end, wich one is better guys ? gt 750m GDDR5 or gtx660 GDDR5 cause i have to choose between two msi...
No the above is 750m GDDR5 look at the memory clock 5000Mghz DDR3 offers only 1800 Mghz...Clock speed is important but not as TMunits and transistors.GTX 690 have Core clock of 915Mghz.(lesser than gt750m) but its a beast.So gtx 660 does perform better than 750m despite of its specs.
Agree to disagree. 750 will go ahead of 660m, but because of its higher clocks, not memory. Both cards have the same amount of the same GDDR5 memory clocked at 5MTs (except the GDDR3 version of 750m). 670m is Fermi-based, so it is inferior to both 750m and 660m. Those results are not entirely trustworthy anyway...
Yes i agree, i own a lenovo y400 with gt 750m gddr5 and the result differs with this one. The gt 750m gddr5 should outperform gtx 660m and may even match with gtx670m. Moreover during a 3dmark 11 bench tst, i got a score of 2945p with the latest driver 320.49. All with default clock.
This is a little misleading. The current game benchmarks for the 750m are from a DDR3 version, not GDDR5. I suspect the GDDR5 version of the 750m will come in ahead of the 660m.
