As this page indicates, if you happen to move from a GTS450 (or very similar) to a 750Ti, you will get almost twice the performance. At least 75%. And that's for MOST applications. This is, however, comparing the GTS450 by EVGA (FPB edition, which means it had a very small overclock) to the EVGA 750Ti FTW (which is the highest factory-overclocked version). And then the GTS450 overclocked by myself and the GTX750Ti not even overlocked by myself yet (just out-of-the-box performance). Even though it might already be from 2014, it's still really worth buying, and I'd recommend jumping on it before it goes out of production. Because there might be newer sort of "mid range" cards coming out, which might perform better yet again, but will also again cost more all over again, and it takes a while for them to drop in price.
