omg, sorry but you can't seriously say that... I had a r9 380, and it ran fallout 4 on high settings around 60 fps, my 2gb gigabyte gtx 960, pumps out fallout 4 on ultra at 55-57, and runs on high at around 70fps. a card which is less demanding and has "worse" stats runs every game I own better then the r9 380. AMD drivers are crap, bad drivers = bad products no matter "the specs"
I literally know everything about the improvements on the Maxwell 2.0 architecture eat a dick. I'm still standing by the 770 has vastly more CUDA cores (WHILE STILL being Kepler based) and still would outperform the 960.
Don't forget how efficient maxwell is, you can overclock the gtx 960 to reach and go above stock 770 performance.
*two 280's
*two 380s
Obviously you dont know shit about micro architectures.
dude... got mine for 80!!!
elle se valent aussi bin l'une que l'autre ^^
Got my GTX 770 for $180 on Craigslist.
i can get a gtx 770 cheaper than gtx 960?
I dont know whether to get 770 or 960 for directx12?
3Dmark11 doesn't have a whole lot of complex shaders.
after having 2 builds, one with a 770 and one with a 960, I can confirm that the 960 will run most games with a few more fps than the 770, but the 770 will ALWAYS run complex shaders much, much faster.
770 is powerfull
Two 770's will soon be unstoppable on price to performance on dx12 games. <3
gtx 960 and 380 are the same price, and 380 just beats it. Saying that the 380 is better than a 770 is just wrong.
not any more, the new amd r9 380 cost the same and does about 8 to 10 fps better then the 960
the new amd r9 380 beats both and is only $199
an r9 290 goes for $250 on rebate and that would beat both of those
960 slays the 770 in 3DMark11! why?????
? 960 is more efficient and has faster memory but clearly the 770 has slightly more raw power.
??????? 770 came out and cost $350, a 960, however, IS a budget card as it ONLY costs $200 and offers performance better than any other card at that price.
Obviously the 770 wins it was a $350 card while the 960 is a $200 card. Also, the 770 has many more CUDA cores.
GTX 960 3Dmark benchmarks for '11 version and '06 is incorrect. This is correct: (960 3DMark11 = 10,683 ) (770 3DMark11=11,310 ) (960 3DMark06 = 32,987 ) (770 3DMark06 = 29,690)
