Wait, you're having trouble running GTA V with a GTX 970? I can run GTAV and Skyrim Legendary. plus HD Textures, and multiple MODs with a single GIGABYTE GTX780 Windforce 3X OC, all mechanical drives as well. These are my system specs, and yes I am due for a GPU, SSD, and motherboard upgrade. but still, this is a single GPU system and it runs GTAV perfectly, at 60 FPS, 8X MSAA. Resolution: 1920x1080 (Old Monitor Acer P241W ) HDMI CPU: i7-4790k (No OC, just let it Turbo) Max temps while gaming with other programs open 60°C/150°F CPU Water Cooler: LEPA AquaChanger 2x120mm (Push/Pull) Thermal Paste: Prolimatech PRO-PK2ano Aluminum High-Grade Thermal Compound GPU: GIGABYTE GTX 780 Windforce 3x OC (PCI-E 3.0 X16, single, No SLI, built in PhysX) RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Stealth 16GB (4X8GB) Cas Latency 9, 1.35V Motherboard: BIOSTAR Hi-Fi B85S3+ 3x STAT III Drives: 2x 1TB Western Digital Black, 1X TOSHIBA P300 3TB I also have four Phanteks fans at 82cfm and an extra case exhaust EVERCOOL SB-F1 @ 42 CFM.
>implying race is a factor
Dude, don't be racist Earn Money Here & buy your favorite graphics card.
Doesn't mean it stacks up
G1 cards are considered some of the best in the industry. you know nothing
It fails on me when i play GTAV... or Skyrim with texture mods. 2 games at once doesnt mean both games are loaded into vram at the same time, it doesnt work that way once a game releases the frame buffer, its textures are moved to "shadowed" ram in main memory. you know nothing.
what makes it a fraud card is its advertised as 4gb DDR5 @ full speed. but it isnt its 3.5GB DDR5 @ full speed. the fact is has the extra 512 of gimped ram that was on video cards 10 years ago, is irrelevant.
Sorry pal your word does not change the many dozen of benchmark reviews! 970 is so close to the 980, it is just not worth the price premium of over $150! Especially when it is only a few FPS between the two! And to this day the slower last bit of 512mb of V-Ram has never shown to be a handicap yet. The only supposed proof is some idiot on youtube who loaded two games at once.
You obviously know nothing about the gigabyte g1 lineup. They are among the fastest oc cards despite relatively low price.
you're running 4k resolution at 30 fps... that really sucks lol.... Jumps into multiplayer and you're stuck at 15 fps.... Showing single player fps isn't really accurate because you're not in fire fights which actually show the reality of your frame rates...
The fact that you bought a Gigabyte version is laughable and it kills your credibility considerably. 980 doubles the performance of a 970.... Seriously where do you get your information do you just spit bullshit out of your mouth? Or do you attempt to sound smart by making up statistics? 980 and 970 are basically the same card ROFL. NO THEY ARE NOT THE SAME CARD DUMBASS
crysis 3 Gigabyte 980 Ti G1 FPS : 82 video :
Still 4gb.
^ This It HAS the 4gb of vram 500 mb of it is lower performance though, hence when final 500 mb's is reached performance falls
but the 970 DOES have 4gb though soo... not exactly a fraud card...
I've had both the 980 and 970, both the Gigabyte G1 version and believe me, you can say anything except they are the same card. 980 performs much much better (I play with a 4k 4096x2160 TV screen). So nobody is stupid when choosing the 980 over the fraud card (970). Except now the 980 Ti makes much more sense.
980Ti wins over all except obviously on price-performance.. though someone would have to be stupid to get a 980 over a 970 since they are basically the same card (more so if Nv hadn't screwed up with the 3.5Gb vram thing). 980Ti makes sense over 970 Sli etc.. much smoother and no multi gpu issues.
the gtx 980ti wins but in price the gtx 980 goal
