You are the fucking noob here dumbass. This guy claimed that "Moar Eckspensyve =/= Bettur" going on to say that if more expensive means better that "the 690 would be better than the 980". I simply pointed out that the GTX 690 is less than half the cost of a 980 currently, and achieves near identical GFLOP ratings and overall performance in many ways. And please do some fucking homework before posting this shit. The GTX 690 supports DX12 first feature level, EVERY card from the 650 boost onwards will have first feature level support for directX 12. Even my GTX TITAN X doesn't get full support for all feature levels of DX12 yet. And the fact htat you are copy and pasting straight from the fucking worst tech site in the world with the least accurate tests ever known to man is just pure laughable. Go try posting some benchmarks on ANY reputable tech site and see how quickly you'll be laughed out of the building. And it's even more embarassing that you use fucking passmark results when talking about a dual GPU card, they don't enable SLI in those tests so the 690 is only being used at half of it's potential. I'm not even sure what the hell you're going on about with "cleaner picture and better effects" etc.. I'll just chock that up to your mental disability.
AHhahahahaha, ROFL NOOB!!! GTX 690 TDP: 300 W, Passmark 5236, GTX 980 TDP: 165 W, Passmark 9741... GTX 980 support DX12, and have a far cleaner/better picture and effects. You're obvious looking at raw power and dumb frame rate, but today that is not a measure of quality graphics cards...
Not single, double. The 295x2 is TWO cards in crossfire. This also means that in half the games you play you will only get HALF the power of the 295x2 since many games don't support crossfire; so in all those games you basically have an UNDERclocked R9 290X...that's it; so not even equal to a GTX 970.
You're kidding right? Were you a troll or just plain stupid? First of all, the GTX 690 is EXACTLY the same performance, give or take 2 or 3%, as a GTX 980; and you can get a 690 for like $225 on ebay (albeit that you won't get perfect SLI scaling in all games of course, so i'd still prefer the 980). And lastly, no....just no. Stop lying. The GTX TITAN X, and the 980 TI by extension, are WAY faster than the GTX 980, at stock speeds the 980 TI and TITAN X are about 30% faster than the 980, and when you overclock both the 980 and the TITAN X the TITAN ends up beating the 980 by around 50%!! And you can't use cost as an excuse, since we have the 980 TI out now, which is only around $100 more than the 980 and still 45-50% faster when overclocked. The sheer fact that an aftermarket 980 starts out at roughly 1,300mhz and only overclocks to about 1,550 max yet the TITAN X starts at just over 1,000mhz and can hit nearly the same amount, reaching 1,450 to 1,500mhz on the vast majority of cards, shows why GM200 is better than GM204; you get 3072 cores (2,816 on the 980 TI) running at 1,500mhz compared to 2,048 cores on the 980 running at the ~1,550mhz. I'm sorry, that just makes it a better card.
Did your mom not get you the TitanX for Christmas?
Screw u
And it ndoesnt matter what version of the titan this is because the 980 is just slightly slower.... and the x is supposed to be massively faster than the z
not to mention the titan z is on kepler
And it isnt the correct word to use.... And no more expensive =/= better. that would mean the 690 is better than the 980
Titan X is for 4k game playing.
This is Titan 2...
Ahahahhahahahaha, R9 295x2 TDP: 500w with passmark 6831... Even GTX 970 is better with passmark 8638 with TDP: 145 W... LEAVE stupid, fan, noob...
*both of them gets murdered by a single and much cheaper AMD Radeon R9 295X2*
says the user with a "titan" in it's username xD
What sad site to see a Titan X wasted on Minecraft :'(
cant tell if joking? if not, you probably just need to do the java.script update.
do you really think that 1000 dollars will make you better at gaming or a tiny increase in performance make your computer run just a little faster if so, ME TOOO!!!!!
It's a Titan X, not Z and yes it does...
omg do you people still think the titan z is better than the 980???
titan x, i7 5960x, 32GB 2400mhz DDR4, all drivers and updates and a fresh installation of windows and minecraft still lag... i think i will buy a car next time
Ordered the titan x . will arrive here on friday :) cant wait
TitanX is pure shit
250TDW is why titan x loses... if that is no issue then titan x is actually the winner, by a long shot.
i don't trust this site anymore
