Can you provide me a link proving that the Titan X is better than GTX 1080 at 5K gaming?

Not all games but most of the games are playable at 5K@30 FPS which is playable. And can you send me the links which proved you that GTX 1080 is better than Titan X at 5K gaming?
There's a few monitors but CARDS are not at the point that 5k is truly playable. Hell there's some games still that are hard to maintain full 60 FPS @4k on single cards, maybe with SLI you can pull it off. I've checked benchmark videos and I've done my research. Why don't you take your own goddamn advice and stop looking like an idiot? The 1080 is better than the Titan X even at 5K but neither card is sufficient to provide the performance needed for 5k. We'll need the next generation of video cards to truly be able to play at a fluid 60 fps at that resolution. Are you still going to continue to be this dense?
There are already a few monitors that support 5K and DisplayPort 1.3 supports 5K@60Hz so what makes it next generation? And you should probably check some benchmark videos before commenting because you look like the idiot here.
5k is a distant horizon still. Even if the Titax X beats the 1080 at that resolution (which it won't by the way), it's asinine to talk about it because *neither* card can even come close to the performance required to sustain even a minimum of 30fps at that resolution. You're talking at the very least, the next generation of video card chipset to be able to support 5k. So yes, you are a goddamn idiot as I said because you're arguing over something that's stupid to argue over. Also, you're still wrong, the 1080 beats the Titan X. Hands down. Stop talking. =)

this only benchmarks one of the gpus in the titan z as it is a dual gpu so this test isnt really fair as the whole gpu needs to be used.

Ive got the titan x, and i play all games on max/ultra settings with no problems, fps never reached <100, so yeah, for me the best invest :D btw. mine is the superclocked edition with stock fan cooler
I'm reading all of this peeps saying titan x is better and other say titan z and other sayin amd 295x... WHICH ONE IS BETTER FOR FK'S SAKE? lol I just wanna play all of these games on max settings with ease.
The only reason I use a Quadro is for 10-bit colour. I use a Titan X for rendering and what not.
Titan X for compute work and a Quadro for 10-bit colour is what my setup is.
not entirely true, there are a plethora of benifits of getting the z, it really depends on the person and their intended use. not all games/programs arw built the same.
Which is great if you want an energy bill that is ridiculous and all the issues that come with a dual GPU plus the fun of AMD drivers. I will never go back to an AMD GPU
its the fastest SINGLE Gpu on the market while the 295x2 is a dual GPU (and 2 290x, which essentially is a 295x2, will beat a single titan x, no doubt)
dx12 will allow asynchronous multi gpus meaning the ram will actuallybe doubled
