WTF... this is some joke, ye?
Used to have a MSI 7970 and 7950. I sold them and bought a 970 and now have 970 SLI which is only a few frames in most games behind a 1080. Still powerful cards. The 7970 is way hotter than a 970 because it simply is an older card with bigger die and the 970 uses 28nm technology. TDP for the 970 makes this one the winner easily. Especially if you're running SLI compared to crossfire. The crossfire setup is rated at 600 watts alone for the cards and 970 sli is 300watts!
not if you are playing doom using vulkan rendering
LOL no DX11 works best on Nvidia cards.
Sorry but GTX 970 much more powerful than a HD7970
i miss my old 7970:(
