AMD APU's on A-series processors (integrated graphics on a weak APU) SSSSSSUUUUUUUUUCCCKKKKKKKKKK
No it isn't. I realize this thread is old, but you are spreading misinformation. Have you learned the difference between integrated and discrete gpu's yet?
I make a damn-fine living from IT, BTW. Probably because I KNOW WHAT I SAY
DUHHHH, but this time they are INSIDE THE CPU,,, BRAIN
"Extra processor cores that are dedicated for video processing". That is the definition of what is a graphics card
Apples <-> Oranges. GTX 1050 is a gaming card. It is meant for playing games. AMD "R7" Graphics are extra processor cores that are dedicated for video processing. IE. Not a card. This comparison is ridiculous. It doesn't make sense. Any "winner" from this comparison is completely subjective. You can argue that using so much less power is worthy of being deemed the winner. That argument only holds water if the little chip can hold its own graphically, which it cannot. AMD APUs suck. Period. Using less power means nothing to me because this "APU" couldn't even power through a 2011 title on medium/high settings. No comparison.
I don't see your point here, a led uses less power because it is more efficient, wastes less energy and gives the same amount of light at a lower wattage. Also i still don't see what you're trying to say here, it is still, no matter what you call it or how it is made; less energy consuming, which is a factor for giving scores here.Of course it won't out perform it, but as i said, that is not the only thing taken into consideration, so what are you trying to argue on here?
OF COURSE "it" uses less power! "It" (the R7 graphics in this test) isn't even a card, it is on the CPU. Talk about apples to oranges! That is like saying an LED uses less power than a spotlight,
It doesn't simply base results on performance, if you look closely you can see that the R7 is vastly superior energy wise, it uses so much less electricity that it is deemed a better card.
LOL Fully Integrated Notebook integrated graphic chip on cpu (APU) vs. fully-blown GTX series card. I own a laptop that has a A12 8800 APU with the best R7 graphics AMD offers with the APU line. I guarantee that this weak chip will not outperform this card. There is no way. And yet, R7 Declared the Winner!!
what is this even comparing?
