Radeon HD 7970 vs GeForce GTX 680 win HD 7970 (R9 280X WIN TO HD 7970=R9 280X) and here win GTX 680. O.O.
oh yes and another thing that ATI/AMD cards easily gets bottle necked.
AMD and ATI are 2 steps down against NVIDIA and Intel. example 1 an FX 6300 6 core 3.5Ghz per core is only in par with i5 2400 4 core 3.40GHz per core, example 2 an XFX HD 5830 1gb ddr5 vs GTS 250 green 1gb ddr3 both these cards are in par but when it comes to AA (like tomb raider 2013) gts comes up superior. get what im saying, so if your basis are the numbers that the cards give you, then you will think that AMD and ATI is higher. and the fact that the price range differs drastically you'll see automatically which is better.
Yes, noticed that, If AMD were leading by 0.3, they would call a tie and say too close to choose a winner.
Either I'm confused or something needs to be fixed here with some of these comparisons. When I view the gtx 680 without comparing it to another card it's rated at an 8.1 yet when I compare it to the Asus r9 280x DU II Top the rating changes to an 8.5. This is bizarre because the Asus r9 280x DU II Top is rated an 8.5 and is clearly faster then the gtx 680 yet both are rated an 8.5. The same thing happens with the reference gtx 770 it's rated at an 8.4 yet when you compare it to the Asus r9 280x DU II Top it's now rated at an 8.7 instead of an 8.4?
