The game is a typical, linear first-person shooter but offers a talent tree, fast paced action, and one-on-one duels with special game mechanics.

"Significantly"
how... wait.. how is it that the GTX 760 is rated 7. sumthin outta ten compared to the R9270x, then when compared to the R9280X, it's rated... 8.3. wtf? same reference that is grading both comparison tests. Just rate the damn card against a benchmark, give me a scrore, then compare that score with the score of a like tested model. Quote pros and cons of each, while not leaning either way, because you're a journalist at heart, and your opinion can't seemed to be swayed toward either corporation, and honestly... they aren't handing o0ut free samples anyhow, am I right? Way to take the high ground.. juggle the numbers... that's how they got Capone... ugh..
You can say your card has lower power consumption, and doesn't produce as much heat, but it's also about 20% less powerful, so that doesn't particularly matter.
Yet another benchmark that skews the results in Nvidia's favor. This website is trash.
That is completely bs. You can check out the REAL benchmarks on this website: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1038?vs=1041
WDF, that frame difference in crysis 3. They are comparing GTX 760 High against R9 280x VERY high. GTX 760 should actually be 33.3 FPS Check their first source for both framerates.
In addition, why are you all using two different sites for the comparison? Then there is the issue one of those sites seems to have no information on the 280... Also, the 280x is right there in performance of the 7970ghz... which the 7970GHz absolutely destroys the 760... How is it the 280x is now on par with a 260? Are you flipping kidding me?
I can't wrap my mind around how the 760 was considerably slower than the r9 280, but now the 760 is right up there with the 280x. ???? That makes no sense.
*facepalm* No, it's not, in fact the R9 280 is better than the GTX 760, and the 280X is significantly better than it. Do your research. If you're comparing the 760, compare it to an R9 270X or 280, because those are the comparable cards from AMD. You might want to try something other than GPBoss as well, considering that I've noticed their results when comparing Nvidia to AMD conflict with every other tech website on the internet.
Sooooo..... the 770 vs the 760 the 760 has a 7.7 and the 750 vs the 760 it has a 7.7.... but against an AMD card it has an 8.3.... OK GPUB.... give it up how much is nvidia paying you? I mean these benchmarks are skewed and ridiculous, anyone with either of these cards can tell they are wrong, yet you blatantly alter the "reviewing" scores so that the NVIDIA cards score the same against other NVIDIA cards, but magically gain almost 100% performance when comparing an AMD card? Sad.......

你们这帮外国2B,
安慰人方法 ?
a friend and me bought both of them , so nvidia tend to... so how about amd , where does it worse than nvidia, as shown above the 280x and 760, does 280x in a higer ranking means better than 760? can someone explain ? so i can still say to my friend that my 760 is still better than his 280x in so way.
I completely agree. I hate to say it, but time and time again nvidia has prove to be the better company for gamers in terms of reliablity and gaming performance. Also, I've heard that AMD gpu's suffer from fps drops while Nvidia gpu's tend to maintain a more constant fps. Anyway, Good luck!
Definitely GTX 760
If looking for a low-cost GC, you could get a R9 270X Vapor-X Edition. Quite nice cooling and overall performance
The FPS, are inverted, no way a 760 would run that framerate on "Very High" And why does the 760 have a score of 7.7 on "770 vs 760" and a 8.3 in "280x vs 760"? *EDIT; First Paragraph reffers to Crysis 3
the gtx 760 never gona get 58 fps in crysis 3 even on low seting so do some corections
Can someone tell me which card should i use ? But not for a big price.
haters gonna hate
58.7 fpsvs38.5 fps are you sure this isn't inverted?
Tom's Hardware's settings are SMAAx1, surely, AFx1 and High Preset. NetbookCheck's settings are SMAAx2, AFx16 and Very High Preset.
I'm new to building gaming rig. What are you trying to say? Which one is better R9 280x or GTX 760? Any help would be appreciated.
GTX 760 runs Crysis 3 with Very High preset at 37,7 FPS. It runs 58 FPS at High presets (not Very High).
