The GTX 770 WindForce OC is no different, but the improvement over the reference design cooler is, nevertheless, not that big because NVIDIA's cooler is already quite good.

lol, this comment is hilarious https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eNVv2yhDVE The 780(not the 770 but a much faster card) gets absolutely murdered by the 390 today.
All of you are idiots! And yes a 770 can use 4GB of V-Ram! And Philip your 256bit bus comment was wrong! Yes 2GB more of V-Ram can be successfully added by a card manufacturer, and still run at the same full speed as the 2GB V-Ram model! And yes a 256bit bus is more than fast enough to run 4GB! You ever hear of the GTX 980? It has a 256bit bus and the exact same 224 GB/s of memory bandwidth speed as the 770! http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2621/geforce-gtx-980.html You people need to stop pretending to be experts on things you know nothing about! This is why you idiots fight with each other all the time, while never make any sense! You have a world database at your fingertips called the Internet! The informations is there for you to learn! And I know the typical dumbed down trendy response would be I don't care!, Well if you do not care to know anything, Then stop pretending you know everything! Because you just make yourselves look stupid! Trying to win a argument simply by using insults, and having no real knowledge of anything, is the same as going to the O.K. Coral to fight Doc Holliday unarmed. it's futile! You can get mad at me all you want! I don't care! I am just hoping maybe this might help at'least one of you idiots! I do still have some hope for people! But honestly it's looking bleak!
First, no I'm not an AMD fanboy and I'd buy an Nvidia card now if I had to build a PC. Second, go to http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1068?vs=1037 and open your eyes. Who's the fanboy/jerk now? Third, don't write a paragraph when you say 'one word'
The difference between the graphics cards would have been closer if they had launched at the same time, that's what you people don't understand You just can't seem to grasp my point of view. If Nvidia had launched 6 months after AMD it would be better, because that's what competition is. The high point of AMD is the R9 290x, not the R9 290. Your hatred for Nvidia just clouds everything in front of you, that's why you say this is biased
One word: jerk You all act like that because you simply hate Nvidia. That's what happens when you are an AMD fanboy. That's why you all have likes, this place is full of AMD fanboys CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL
The fact that you can't be civilized made me disappointed in the human race. And you didn't understand that AMD graphics cards had an advantage over Nvidia, a 6 month advantage. I was not comparing them, you moron, i was stating facts because everyone just hates Nvidia, I looked at benchmarks at the time, and there is a 6 month difference between them, of course the AMD is better i see you are all AMD fanboys, good for you, you feel like men now?
finally they changed it to the 290 as the winner
Hahahahhaha You're awesome..!! :)
Fuc*ing bul*shit Gpuboss, how much NVidia pay you? This is a black business game NVidia and GPUBoss, or GPUBoss is NVidia bias? Fu*k Nvidia with their black business.
Not anymore m8.
Totally not true at all. Try gaming in higher resolutions. Anything above 1080p will use more memory IF it's available. I game at 2560x1600 w/ GTX770 4GB card and regular see memory use over 3GB.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3fHKROSWJs Watch and learn the truth about this bullshit...
slapping on 4gb on old hardware doesnt make it better when the bandwidth of the 770 is 256bit
4GB is just a trick to sell, the 4gb 770 can only use 2gb anyway, moron.
Meh, I only use this to see the specs anyways, The benchmarks is off, Id agree with that But there is not much to do about it, This site has Always been bad and will probably always be bad for benchmarking.
how much did they pay?
Oh brrr hahahah gtx770=r9 290 hahaha
the 4GB 770 > R9 290... Period. this Thomas Dameron tool must not understand the fact Nvidia as ... "Options"
for me the r9 290 is better than gtx 770.it gives a solid 60-90 fps in ultimate or ultra and it never drops to 60 below,,,,sorry for my bad english...ehehehhee
Sorry bro, no way a 770 beats a r9 290.
AMD ALL THE WAY! NVidia can't handle the Competition so they pay sites to "UP" the stats ;D
The R9 290 is a tad slower than a 780. The 770 is comparable to the 280X, not the 290. You're an Nvidia fanboy, and reading that bullshit made me disappointed in the human race. Go look at some benchmarks, moron.
The R9 290 even beats the GTX 780 (check on anadtech)... and it's at least 10% cheaper than the 770
one word: lol
AMD does the smart thing, to launch at least 6 months later to plan the course of action, and of course it will outperform, it launched much later. What were you expecting huh? Really?
