That true if you check r9 290 vs gtx 780 almost all categoriy show r9 290 is stronger but at the end gtx 780 is winner .they look stup

This website is NVidia Partner, u know R9 290 beat GTX 780 easily? R9 290 is worth to comapre with GTX 780 ti, this website only show ( bioshock infinite ) benchmarks to trick someone for GTX 780 as the winner.... FREAK ..!!!!
How the xxxx does the 780 get a higher rating over the R9 290 when the 290 beats it in gaming benchmarks! Wattage and temps mean nothing! When you buy a high end GPU you obviously have the money to purchase a case with correct airflow. And any good 700watt PSU will run a GTX 780 or a R9 290 without a hitch. Even some 600watt units will run either GPU. And besides they are for some stupid reason pretending that the R9 290 uses more watts than it actually does! It only has a 275 Watt TDP and only uses up to 295 watts under load! the GTX 780 has a 250 Watt TDP, and uses close to 290 watts under load. However both cards only have a 25 watt TDP difference. That means nothing when it comes to high end cards. Also the temps of both cards are not far from each other either. Both cards can get to the 90's if you do not have correct airflow. (sigh) I would never rate a GPU higher than another GPU that outperforms it. This is insane! And if the price for the R9 290 is well under $300 it is priced at $279! And the 780 is well over $500, LOL, Even the new GTX 970 that has the same performance as the 780 is more expensive at $340. So when I upgrade later this year it is going to be a R9 290. I was going to get the GTX 970. But they never dropped the price on the GTX 970 at all! So why on earth would I pay $340 for a GPU when I can get a faster GPU for $279? $61 dollars can buy four decent cases of Natural light LOL. Besides I already have a R9 series GPU, So I should not be wasting money on another anyway. To be honest The AMD GPU's under $200 are more than you need for a couple of years! Even my old 650 Ti will be good for while longer.

Seriously.... This is way more accurate.
amd has slightly higher benchmarks by like 1-3 fps but noise and power consumption are better with the 780 (quieter) 4gb vs 3gb.... but if your gonna get one, i would wait for the 6gb 780 to come out

The benchmarks are complete bullshit. I recommend anyone reading here to go see individual reviews of each cards. Stay away from BiasedBoss.
