over a year later my 980 is keeping up with the fury let alone the 290x even on the fire strike ultra test the fury and 980 trade blows
If the r9295x2 is just as good as the Titan z and faster then the titian x and the 980ti is slower then the titian x then the 980 is slower then the 980ti what the hell was the point of your comment. Clearly the r9295x2 is better. wut ? 290x = 280,- euro versus 980 = 600,- euro pricings taken from today at Tweakers at 7-5-2015 keep buying into Nvidiot hype dude lawl.
290x is better or on par on alot of games. Keep trying GPUBoss
all they did was Synthetic real gaming benches.because they try and hide those i think its on par or close to the 980.
Because the nVidia card is $220 more expensive. Hardly an equal comparison lol.
LOL, The 295x2 is only comparable to the Titan Z. Better to review before say it!
Hmmm If ATI/AMD disappeared today; not only will that GPU cost $3000 grand it won't be significantly faster than the 980 is right now. Just look at the processor market. Essentially Intel has no competition. And essentially Intel hasn't done anything much beyond a die shrink in 5 years. As for the extra cores, those have been available on the XEON's for a long time as well. Great for Intel's and Nvidia's share holders pocket book, absolutely horrible for end users. I can see the ads now; Get the latest and greatest 980000000 now with 5 new colors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AMD is better ^^
also 300 *2 = 600 watts vs 165? accept it... nvidia got the better cards same like amd vs intel... intel wins allways since the "i"
no one gives a shit about those super expensive laptops and pc's you're advertising. eat some dicks, assholes. fucking dipshits.
for good reason.
980 all the! AMD is for fannies and fairies!
lol what? The 295x2 is the same price as the 980. The 980 is a shit tier card.
AMD bought ATI several years ago...
The Ati part of the comment was just a joke to reply to him, because he called Amd Ati, and what I meant with 3000 dollar GPU is that when Amd stops producing gpu's, there's nothing to stop nvidia from asking crazy prices.
$3000 lol 1 im from the UK and 2 its under £1000. i don't have what you are referring to "a GTX titan z" as at the time i had a GTX 780ti and will very soon have a GTX 980, ATI do not exist any more as in 2006 AMD completed their acquisition of ATI. the 295x2 has dropped in price faster than any graphics card of recent times (from launch 8 months ago £1300 to just £480 today and no thats not a black friday deal that's the actual price).

Actually, in any Nvidia vs. AMD comparisons GPUboss generally doesn't declare winners, with a few exceptions. But we all know that they favor Nvidia ;)
And you'll be laughing with your 3000 Dollar GPU when ATI no longer exists!

Well it's actually not ATi anymore since AMD bought it ;) AMD will focus on there graphics thats the only thing they really do much better than anything other. They won't support DDR4 until 2016 soooo I guess the CPU's are the worst stuff from AMD and the GPU's are going to be better. I guess there architectur is very bad in comparison to Nvidia cards.
you'll be waiting a long time then as ATI no longer exists!
I'm glad the gpu market is getting competitive again. In the end, we, the customers, are the one who get more out this situation. Can't wait for the next ati card.
