and you're just stupid
Dude, you're a tool. nvidia is just better at gaming. Period.
so how you explain the difference between GTX 680 and GTX 690?
980ti better in all than 295x2? lol xD its not possible!
Test results are test results, how can they "favers nvidia" lol ?
The PSU is not the Problem. The energy cost is to high.
wow uhm this site really favors nvidia lol i own nvidia cards but im finding one of these behemoth cards and using some vsync shiz and im gonna sit on my thrown while a old amd card beats all nvidia cards ever made. cudos amd im a supporter
We are comparing a card that is how old to a brand new card? The 295x2 was released in 2014 and it is two gpu's that are 2 years old on one board. I would hope that the Nvidia main stream flagship gpu would beat the 295x2 considering it's a year and half later.
There have only really been issues with AAA games at launch with the 295x2. Although if you're dumb enough to buy those then you deserve the worse card, so get a 980ti.
But why? An 850w psu costs like $20 more than a 450w one
I had this beast of a card and itll run off of a 850 watt psu....most folks have almost that anyways...i have a 750 watt in my gtx 960 rig
Wow... That's so dumb... Thanks for explaining it to me though.
There are a lot of reasons why the 980ti is the better card.Ya sure the 295x2 has the highest fps in 80% of games but not by that much, but with MUCH higher minimum fps, no crossfire issues that can cause micro stuttering, lower wattage (so you can save money on your psu) makes the 980ti a better option and you get a more enjoyable gaming experience.
Because only shows bench results for one gpu core , which means all dual gpu cards featured are actually twice as fast . For example , the r9 295x2 is 2 r9 290Xs , so the site shows the results for a 290x . A 980 ti beats a 290x.
Yes, but the massive TDP from the R9 295X2 with 500Watts is too much for me...
So if the 980 ti has about 90-95% of the performance of the Titan X, how exactly does it beat the 295x2, which is generally better than the Titan X? It also should have way more overclocking potential being liquid cooled out of the box (I know there are a couple 980 ti's that are liquid cooled, but most aren't).
