el problema de amd ahora es que sus drivers optimizan el rendimiento para la mineria y no para el juego. probablemente si amd optimizara sus drivers para juego la rx 460 obtendrían el mismo rendimiento de la gtx 1050 o incluso muy superior para juegos. si observan bien la rx 460 mina mucho mas pero en juegos rinde menos. aun asi la rx 460 tiene mas de todo y en números es superior pero a la realidad rinde mas la 1050 en juegos. pero como dije se debe a los controladores de vídeo. the problem with amd now is that its drivers optimize performance for mining and not for gaming. probably if amd optimized its drivers for game the rx 460 would obtain the same performance of the gtx 1050 or even very superior for games. if they observe well the rx 460 mine much more but in games yield less. even so the rx 460 has more of everything and in numbers is superior but to reality it yields more the 1050 in games. but as I said it is due to the video drivers sorry the google traslade. no speak english XD
The RX 460 might be a lot cheaper with very similar performance but the GTX 1050 is better quality, quiter and runs much cooler. the extra $40 is worth it.
well good for you in my country rx460 is about 5-10% higher price, both are overpriced anyway but they have the same price meaning rx460 is useless
A 4GB RX 460 can be found for about $100 new. A 4GB GTX 1050 TI can be found for about $130. I'm not sure I'd consider $30 in this case "way cheaper".
CONSIDER THE PRICE RX is way cheaper than GTX, almost 50% cheaper, also you'll get nice performance playing AAA games although GTX did it marginally better
1050 is the better card for the price. the 460 is $99 the 1050 is $110. Only $10 for 18% better performance is wiser. And we still have no DX12 games worth buying.
yeah the games that you can use DX 12 and Vulkan my wife's 460 is showing decent gains vs dx 11/open gl, I hope to stay team red as well, was checking this as I saw a price drop on the 1050 and honestly the only reason I prefer still the 460 even at near price is Freesync vs Gsync price on monitors :p people tend to forget that or go for standard monitors.
18% is the most I've seen. But RX 460 is 10%-20% cheaper depending on a model. You get what you pay for. I'm staying on team Red coz I believe in DX 12 and Vulkan their cards will perform better over time.
1050 beats 460 by 20% FPS in benchmarks in some games.
This will be an interesting face-off.
2gb and low watt class .. still curious who is better ._.
