I am so confused. First I read the scores on top: RX 580 8GB - 7.2/10 GTX 1060 6GB - 6.4/10 BUT the 1060 wins? And a 1050 Ti beats a 1060 ..... WHAT? WHAT? When did Video Cards start a benchmark FACE DETECTION? Why is there no score " n/a " for the " Gaming " Category? How could you post a review without doing the 'review'. This review is incomplete. WHY POST IT!? There needs to be staff changes in management for this website. STAY OUT OF THE BUSINESS.
Inefficient design calls for increased power throughput while pumping next to near performance to comparison.
I Never buy NVIDIA agains, each drive update the card lost performace, when GTX 1050TI ARRIVE THE MARKET it´s 10 fps less gtx 960 4gb, now the GTX 960 4GB LESS THAN 10 FPS FOR GTX 960 4GB
Better floating-point performance 6,175 GFLOPS vs 3,953 GFLOPS More than 55% better floating-point performance this is why I buy rx 580 and cross fire at hand .
The reason why the 1060 wins is because the under the Gaming section the RX 480 must have crashed or frozen during the benchmark, therefore no score.
This site is shit. RX 580 is way better. The only loss is TDP...
Go play a game optimized for open gl..
well i do it is so easy
who the hell overclock his/her vga? 1 in 10 / 1 in 100 / 1 in 1 million?
The 3gb version can't really even be called a 1060, and if you wanted to you would have to change the 1060 6gb to the 1060 Ti for it to work like that
this posts are comparing the 6gb 1060 and the 8gb 580 so...
was i talking about a 6gb 1060 no
it has a really high tdp it is also really hot so not that much overclocking
Nobody buys a graphics card for performance per watt. We buy for performance. Power consumption should be a side note in any GPU comparison. Sure it's nice to know, but it's nobody is going to intentionally sacrifice performance to save a few watts.
Benchmark is 6gb variant vs 8gb variant?!??!!? flerpie is just retarded.
He probably didn't even type it to begin with.
Dude, he said the 1060 3gb variant vs the 580 4gb variant. Stop posting the same comment when you didn't even read his.
Where do you look for prices? At amazon.es you can get a RX580 8GB for €250, while you can't get any GTX 1060 6GB for less than €317.

this way rx 580 uses more power also runs hotter and at the top thing the rx 580 sucks gtx 1060 takes the win and also didnt mention the cheapest 3gb 1060 is 200 dollars the cheapest rx 580 is 270 dollars so thats a win for the 1060

Right now you're paying twice as much for a 580 8GB as a 1060 6GB. And while the specs say one thing, actually gaming performance between these two cards depends more on which brand the game is optimized for more. If you look at videos with benchmarks from Gamersnexus, you'll see what I mean. They're trading blows game per game. Before the mining craze, I would've bought a 480 or 580 in a heartbeat. But once it started the prices of AMD cards were too high, and they were almost impossible to find. I sold my 380x on ebay, and it completely paid for my 1060 6GB, which was a 40% performance increase for me at zero cost. I like AMD, my next PC will be AMD, but at the moment it's just not priced right on the cards. I could actually get a 1080 for the price of a 580.
how does any 1060 beat a rx 580.... this is a joke
