I wish it was the case here, GTX 1070 costs 2.5 times more than RX 580.
Just noting here that in WoW rx 580 can easily provide 60fps at high settings in 4k.
i ran 2 rx 580s in cross fire and they ran fine, there was not that much heat
2 rx 580s are cheaper than a 1080 ti at least in my country.
you can't tell the difference between 30hz, 60hz, 120hz? u need to see an optometrist
240 hz not worth it because most pc cant run this much plus human eye can only see 30 fps ( hz ) and 120 fps will be to much enought
why gtx 1060 get 9.9 ?
Don't talk shit when u don't even know the difference between fps and Hz
something is seriously wrong with this testing when the 1060 is outscoring both the 580 and the 1070 with way less of everything. i just came from the 480 and 580 vs 1060 and the 1070 is underperforming a 1060 that's major testing failure.
Exactly. AA provides diminishing returns quickly.
I am thinking generally. Yeah, if you are not pushing quality to maximum and reducing AA (1440 doesn't need as much as AA as 1080p, if any), RX 580 is good, and in some games it can push 4K 30 fps too. I tried Tropico 5, Tekken 7. No AA in 4K is needed, and sometimes even not high post processing.
Lol, what? Are we talking DX 12? the RX 580 with 8GB of RAM is more than capable of 1440p and beyond textures.
AMD running hot is a myth. intel/Invidia propoganda.
240hz monitors is the biggest waste of money falling for tech company "look at what we have buy us" scams the new zelda is super super popular and and the wii u is capped at 30 fps and drops below it constantly. the last of us was popular too on ps3 and was mid 20s for fps too. anything above 90fps is wasted power and hard for even the best human eyes to distinguish
Right dude thats a really fckn nonsense im a amd user and still using amd until now bcs its cheap and suited for budget gamer but amd are really known for its high consumption power and its damn heat. you expect to run a double 8gb rx 580? thats crazy it will be very hot even if you dont over clock it the power consumption of both will be 450w at peak and either you will buy external cooling for your GPU or you will need to buy expensive rx580 with good cooling that cost $350++. thats total nonsense, i even considering change to gtx 1060 6gb next bcs rx 580 8gb bcs its 120w vs 225w and i need to upgrade my psu if i change to rx 580 no to mention the monthly bills i need to pay if i used rx 580
if your gonna 2x then just get a dang 1080ti
agreed, but maybe for 144hz monitors (and now with the 240hz monitor also) the 1070 have a better usage VS the overkill power for the 1080p60 monitors
your grammar hurt my eyes
for 1080p, RX580 is the one for you 1070 is for 1440p and beyond.
400dollars rx 580/ 430D gtx 1070 ?!
yes in gaming everything matters when building a pc so you build one for 1000 with a 1070 and me rx580 for same price mine will come out better than your because I have more to spend than you do I can run 2x rx580 and still keep it at 996.87 while you run 1 gtx1070 and have crapper parts to compliment it at 994.52. So yes the rx580 wins in terms of budgeting a pc buildat 1000 or less you get more!
Dude...Actually you're saying that the 580 is better than the 1070gtx? Are you Serious right now?
If we are discussing price per performance, which resolution are we talking about? Which resolution would you prefer gaming at? I am considering getting rid of my Acer 1440p 144Hz monitor and just running 3 HDTVs. I play mostly American Truck Simulator and maybe I will play a little GTA V or HItman, but ATS is my main game right now. I was gaming on a single 40 inch HD before and I miss it.
Only in benchmarks, reality is different! Just like all other benchmarks, are pretty useless, it is real performance that counts!
the 1070?? Is not similar performance, the 580 performs slightly better than the 1060 gtx...
