Actually it's not twice as much as the 1080 my son :) If you look on Amazon t's $700-$900 (few being $450 at the cheapest on Amazon. Also Nvidia isn't selling 1080's on their website anymore apparently, only the 1080 Ti remains :|) and the Vega 64 is only $400 to $500 on Amazon (I recommend buying one from there considering on AMD's website they're selling them for $600 to $900 :0) Also if you look at benchmarks they are equal, the Vega beats the 1080 in some games, the 1080 beats the Vega in some games, nobody in this contest is really better than the other. :\ Sources: Vega: - - 1080: - - Yeah they aren't selling 1080s on NVIDIA's website anymore apparently, just Amazon and other places:
9 months ago I didnt know that I will have 1070 now XD
Interesting to see the difference in the Synthetic benchmarks. Not sure I thought it would be that much of a blowout but not surprised. I upgraded from my GTX 1070 to a certain ti edition that I will just leave unmentioned so I don't get swarmed for "bragging" or "showing off" or "lying" or any of the other things internet smears have trolled out in he past. The point is, the GTX 1070 is an absolutely epic card. It just isn't everything you need for a flawless 4k experience like the --80ti. The difference is actually huge. Nothing about the Vega makes me want to spend any money on it. It's late. It isn't revolutionary, and best as I can see, it's overpriced. Plus, just like the Oakland Raiders, it has the worst fans. Not trying to slam the Raiders, but if I didn't use a football metaphor, you would have thought I meant fans on the card.
The Vega is AMDs flagship and there are 3 Nvidia cards that outperform it. ====clap===========clap======= Happy Trolling
my son, it came out yesterday and benchmark saying its equal to gtx 1080 while being two times pricier than gtx 1080. ahahahhahah sucks to be on red team.
AMD workers are just bunch of snails. They get 2 graphics cards ready when NVIDIA gets about 2 generations of graphic cards.
