While the higher-end GTX 1080 wins out with brute specs including GDDR5X memory that's clocked at 10GHz, and while the GTX 1070 isn't as beefy as its big brother, it can swing at the same weight and size, beating nearly everything else we tested in most games, except for the GTX 1080.

If you're in the market to build a new gaming PC, or even have a black/silver theme, the MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Quick Silver 8G OC graphics card is the perfect choice.

The MSI GTX 1070 GAMING X 8G has extra power

by Jeremy Hellstrom |
The most noticeable feature of this GTX 1070 from MSI is that is has an additional 6 pin power connector intended to ensure smooth power delivery.
The factory overclock on the card pushes the boost clock to 1771MHz and [H]ard|OCP also tested it the best overclock they could manage, a base clock of 1692MHz and a boost clock of 1882MHz.
We have a great thermal solution, which Palit says will "make you become a real game rocker without any fears"... sounds good to me.
If you're gaming at 1080p or 1440p then you'll have no problems hitting 60FPS in the games on the market right now, and even Battlefield 1 and Gears of War 4 that are both around the corner.

Not at all. Just use Afterburner and adjust until stable. It's almost foolproof...
1925 mhz? Do you have a special cooler for it or something?
Wonering if it would be any beneficial of overclocking.
Going for this card.
Great card. I have it bumped up to 1925 and it is solid as a rock.
Outstanding card. I have the OC Aero edition and have never even touched the boost clock yet, and still plays all the new games at ultra. I don't play 4k nor VR so cant comment on that. Visually the black/silver looks great in my case. I paid $625 CDN which is high, but it's Canada. Sorry.
szintúgy :) evga mindenek felett
Have for a months and no problem with it. Best choice what i ever made in gpu.
