Sir, ur comment is a blessing (sorry for my bad english). I have a Zotac gt 740 and now i'm buying a quad core cpu to run properly my games. Hopefully it would be better because im using it with a dual core cpu and people told me that's bad for performance, even when the MSI Afterburner says that my gpu load is 99%... :P
This is not a bad GPU at all. It is a re-badged GTX 650 non Ti. It is just clocked a tad lower but can be clocked back up to the chips original clock easy with any free program like Afterburner. However be very careful because some idiots are trying to rip people off asking over $100 for them. Never pay anything over $89 for this card! As a matter of fact you can get this card most of the time for $75-$80. And for that price it is a steal because this GPU will run any game at at'least medium settings. And everyone knows PC games even on Medium still look better than the PS4 and Xbox One. However I do recommend spending just a bit more to play at high to Ultra settings. Just be careful because 2K and 4K resolutions are complete nonsense. A screen bigger than a 900p or 1080p is way overkill when you will be sitting right in front of it while gaming. And do not let people fool you with picture examples they post showing one resolution looking better than another. Because the lower resolutions they show you only look worse because they are from that person's display. And any display looks as good as any other as long as it is set to it's native display. So when they show you the lower resolution pics they are from a display that is not set at it's native resolution. I have assembled many PC's And they have had many different displays. And I know for a fact even 1366x768 looks as good as 1080p or higher. Any display set at it's native resolution will always look as good as the other. So the best bang for buck set up to get would be a R7265 / R9 270 / R9 270X or GTX 660 / GTX 760 with a 1600x900 display. Or if you must have something a little bigger go with a R9 285 / R9 280 or a GTX 770 and a 1920x1080 display. Anything higher is just a waste of money and overkill and will not look any better. And if you go with a lower performing GPU like the GT 740 try to get something like a 19inch 1366x768 display and it will then perform at higher settings like a more expensive GPU will. It is all in knowing how to properly balance a system not in dollars spent. A cheap gaming Rig can perform as good as a more expensive one if balanced the right way. So be careful and research your purchase before diving into it.
