EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti

Released November, 2013
  • 1 GHz
  • 3 GB GDDR5
7.5 Out of 10

The EVGA ACX cooler does look nice, but I still don't think it can compete with the NVIDIA reference design cooler and its large shiny metal surfaces.

Since it's the displays that dictate refresh rates, it's always been the GPU's job to ensure the display output is fluid, by deploying technologies such as V-Sync (vertical sync).

Reviews Word on the street for the GeForce GTX 780 Ti

9.4
Palit unfortunately didn't make good use of that capability as their card basically emits just as much noise as the NVIDIA reference design in idle, which is pretty quiet, but far from "almost inaudible.

What People Are Saying Give it to me straight

Performance

Averaged over all our benchmarks, performance is almost 10% higher than GTX Titan, and 8% higher than the R9 290X in its noisy "Uber" mode.
by techPowerUp!
The card delivers impressive performance thanks to the GK110 GPU which has all its 2,880 shaders enabled.
by techPowerUp!
We then see the card 6% faster than the reference design when averaged over our benchmarks.
by techPowerUp!

Applications

All other GTX 780 Ti variants I've reviewed previously won't even come close to the noise levels of the MSI GTX 780 Ti Gaming, which is almost as quiet during full-on gaming as other GTX 780 Tis in idle!
by techPowerUp!
You can find MSI's GTX 780 Ti Gaming online right now for $710, which is just a small $10 price increase over the reference design cards, and definitely worth it.
by techPowerUp!
EVGA also includes an additional game, "Rise of the Triad," bringing the game bundle up to four titles.
by techPowerUp!

Memory

overclock it to match GTX 780 Ti, and save some money. GTX Titan is largely irrelevant now with its $1000 price. It does offer 6 GB RAM, that you probably won't need, full speed DP math, that you most certainly won't need, but I could imagine some people in the professional/research space that could still find a use for GTX Titan.
by techPowerUp!
Sure, the GTX 780 Ti features all of the 2,880 CUDA cores physically present on the GK110 silicon, the 240 TMUs, and the 48 ROPs; and sure, it's clocked higher than the GTX TITAN, at 875 MHz core, 928 MHz maximum GPU Boost, and 7.00 GHz (GDDR5-effective) memory, which belts out a staggering 336 GB/s of memory bandwidth; but there's a catch.
by techPowerUp!
Even at stock, GTX 780 Ti with its 384-bit bus has more memory bandwidth than R9 290X with 512-bit (336 GB/s vs. 320 GB/s).
by techPowerUp!

Gaming

So even at frame-rates well below 60, games feel more fluid.
by techPowerUp!
The card is whisper quiet in idle, which will be important if you don't game all the time.
by techPowerUp!
Like other MSI Gaming products, it promises to be very quiet, which is something I'm looking forward to after seeing less than impressive noise results from GTX 780 Ti cards we reviewed earlier.
by techPowerUp!

Overclocking

Both GPU and memory overclocking is very good and confirms that the GTX 780 Ti overclocks significantly better than non-Ti cards.
by techPowerUp!
While the GTX 780 Ti is very fast already, EVGA topped it by quite a big margin with their overclock out of the box and the new ACX cooler.
by techPowerUp!
Not a huge difference, it is probably still enough to make looking into manual overclocking worthwhile.

G(imped)TX 780Ti...
Are you ok my friend or you have some issues with your brain? Doesn't matter what they get from the price, the thing is I can see it for 17% discount and I can get it for a 17% discount even if they get a commission for it. Besides it doesnt matter how you end up buying it from anywhere, there's always gonna be some one taking the commission. Do you also go and fight the retailers when you buy anything from a shop because they also get a commission/profit? Get your straight bro or someones gonna kick your ass pretty soon...
Nice try you son of a bitch!DONT BY WITH THIS LINK THER IS NOTHING DISCOUNTED BUT HE GET 10% FROM THE PRICE (60-75$)IF YOU BUY WITH THIS LINK!

This thing has some nice and interesting reviews on Amazon http://amzn.to/1pRsMma And all the scores here are def pushing towards making a purchase.....so let's see....
take this card, double the values + 30% = r9 295x2
You're clearly an idiot.
What about the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Dual Classified w/ EVGA ACX Cooler?
ATI cards rape NVIDIA cards for hashing... that's why bitcoin miners use(d) them.
should i get one of these or 2 R9 290's im using them for gpu hashing
where can i find one or when r they out
