All other GTX 780 Ti variants I've reviewed previously won't even come close to the noise levels of the MSI GTX 780 Ti Gaming, which is almost as quiet during full-on gaming as other GTX 780 Tis in idle!

You can find MSI's GTX 780 Ti Gaming online right now for $710, which is just a small $10 price increase over the reference design cards, and definitely worth it.

EVGA also includes an additional game, "Rise of the Triad," bringing the game bundle up to four titles.

overclock it to match GTX 780 Ti, and save some money. GTX Titan is largely irrelevant now with its $1000 price. It does offer 6 GB RAM, that you probably won't need, full speed DP math, that you most certainly won't need, but I could imagine some people in the professional/research space that could still find a use for GTX Titan.

Sure, the GTX 780 Ti features all of the 2,880 CUDA cores physically present on the GK110 silicon, the 240 TMUs, and the 48 ROPs; and sure, it's clocked higher than the GTX TITAN, at 875 MHz core, 928 MHz maximum GPU Boost, and 7.00 GHz (GDDR5-effective) memory, which belts out a staggering 336 GB/s of memory bandwidth; but there's a catch.

Even at stock, GTX 780 Ti with its 384-bit bus has more memory bandwidth than R9 290X with 512-bit (336 GB/s vs. 320 GB/s).

While the cooler works well, it would be nice to see a backplate to give the product a more complete feel and protect against damage during handling.

NVIDIA is using their "Titan"-style reference cooler, which we all love.

It looks great and the metal surfaces give the product a much more refined feel than a plastic cooler.

Both GPU and memory overclocking is very good and confirms that the GTX 780 Ti overclocks significantly better than non-Ti cards.

While the GTX 780 Ti is very fast already, EVGA topped it by quite a big margin with their overclock out of the box and the new ACX cooler.

Not a huge difference, it is probably still enough to make looking into manual overclocking worthwhile.
