GeForce 830A

Released July, 2014
  • 1.1 GHz
  • 2 GB DDR3

When it comes to building and configuring Core M, Intel likes to refer to their efforts as the “Fanless Challenge,” reflecting the fact that their biggest goal with Core M is to comfortably get the processor in to 10” tablets under 10mm in thickness that are passively cooled.

This is similar to Ivy Bridge (4%-6%), though at this stage in the game Intel is not talking about expected clockspeeds or the resulting overall performance improvement.

A TITANic roundup of GPUs

by Jeremy Hellstrom |
www.pcper.com
[H]ard|OCP tested it against the GTX 980 which shares the same cooler and is every bit as long as the TITAN X. Along the way they found a use for the 12GB of VRAM as both Watch_Dogs and Far Cry 4 used over 7GB of memory when tested at 4k resolution though the frame rates were not really playable, you will need at least two TITAN X's to pull that off.
They will be revisiting this card in the future, providing more tests for a card with incredible performance and an even more incredible price.

Intel Broadwell Architecture Preview: A Glimpse into Core M

by Ryan Smith |
www.anandtech.com
When it comes to building and configuring Core M, Intel likes to refer to their efforts as the “Fanless Challenge,” reflecting the fact that their biggest goal with Core M is to comfortably get the processor in to 10” tablets under 10mm in thickness that are passively cooled.
The end result no doubt limited what performance optimizations Intel could integrate into Broadwell’s design, but it also functionally reduces power requirements for any given performance level, furthering Intel’s goals in getting Core performance in a mobile device.
Well, now an enthusiast called K-putt has used a hacked Crysis 3 executable to run the game at 8K — and I’m not being hyperbolic when I say that the resultant screenshots are probably the most beautiful examples of real-time computer-generated graphics that I’ve ever seen.
As you’re probably well aware, ever since Crysis was first released in 2007, it has been the benchmark for graphics card performance and beautiful real-time visuals.
Infact it could very well propel the semiconductor a couple of decades easily (compared to the performance trend via Moore’s law).
Also since the Graphene is removed from the germanium using a completely dry process the Graphene is completely wrinkle free which basically means that the construction of the crystal is completely clean and low in defects.
