by Anand-Lal-Shimpi (Dec, 2013)The V248QE is a 144Hz 24” 1080p TN display, a good fit for gamers but not exactly the best looking display in the world.
by Ryan-Shrout (Dec, 2013)My short time with the NVIDIA G-Sync prototype display has been truly impressive, and getting some play time in with Battlefield 4, Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite and even some good old Battlefield 3 was awesome.

Features Key features of the GeForce 9300M G
memory bandwidth Rate at which data can be read from or stored in onboard memory
pixel rate Number of pixels a graphics card can render to the screen every second
texture rate Speed at which a graphics card can perform texture mapping
floating point performance How fast the gpu can crunch numbers
shading units Subcomponents of the gpu, these run in parallel to enable fast pixel shading
texture mapping units Built into each gpu, these resize and rotate bitmaps for texturing scenes

The G1080 also features RGB LED lighting that can sync with Phanteks cases that supports RGB lighting or motherboards’ RGB software by using our Phanteks RGB adapter.
The G1080 uses military class Viton O-ring compared to silicone O-rings used by other manufacturers, well known for its excellent heat resistance and its durability.

As for UWP's continued evolution, the blog post does tease that we should "expect to see some exciting developments on multiple GPUs in DirectX 12 in the near future.
For G-Sync and FreeSync users, the ability to draw to the screen at any range of render rates will offer an even further advantage of uncapped frame rates, no tearing but also, no "dropped" frames caused by running at off-ratios of a standard monitor's refresh rate.

If your game is rendering at 40 FPS, lower than the minimum VRR window, then you will again see the result of tearing (with VSync off) or the potential for stutter and hitching (with VSync on).
But, this method requires a local frame buffer and requires logic on the display controller to work.

Considering the GTX 965M has 1024 CUDA cores many felt it would use GM206 as well, but that didn’t happen; in a similar fashion, those expecting (hoping) GTX 960M and 950M would use a derivative of GM206 are also going to be disappointed and it continues to use the GM107 chip.
Interestingly, the clocks and core configurations mean that potentially the GTX 950M is actually a bit slower than GTX 850M (640 cores at 936MHz + Boost compared to 914MHz + Boost), but NVIDIA doesn't disclose the full range of base clocks and Boost clocks so the 950M will hit higher clocks on average compared to 850M.
