The ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q 27-in WQHD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate is truly an awesome monitor.

In order to support the ability for NVIDIA’s Kepler architecture to launch additional workloads a new Grid Management Unit was built that handles the incoming workloads from the host system as well as the algorithmically created workloads and balances accordingly.

In The News From around the web

Slow rotations and pans didn’t cause any of the typical “crawling” effect on the screen, and targeting on enemies, even at low frame rates, was easy to do.
Any movement that was tracking on the screen would suddenly appear to stop – and then would quickly “jump” to the next location faster than your mind thought it should.

Nvidia announces G-Sync technology

by Fuad Abazovic |
www.fudzilla.com
Nvidia’s new G-Sync module is a gadget that's supposed to be integrated in monitors and it aims to eliminate any stutter or tearing of a rendered frame.
We remember that Nvidia tried hard to push its 3D glasses and 3D monitors from partners years ago, with a hefty premium, and in hindsight we know that none of those two became mainstream.
Explaining why, Matt specifically states that “at 28nm for an enthusiast GPU, we can achieve higher clock speeds and higher absolute performance.
These are ballpark figures of course, so we’ll know more once the GPU formally launches, including of course how well that large die and new microarchitecture translate into performance.

Report: Nvidia Making Dual-GK110 Graphics Card

by Niels Broekhuijsen |
www.tomshardware.com
Making such a graphics card might be a challenge, but in the past we've seen Nvidia put two high-power GPUs on a single PCB with the GTX 295.
Moreover, its price is expected not to exceed $1,000.
