GeForce GT 630 PCIe x8

Released May, 2013
  • 902 MHz
  • 2 GB DDR3

The memory modules feature an aggressively styled anodized aluminum heat spreader which helps dissipate heat more effectively while the memory stick uses a full black PCB which looks great from an aesthetic point of view.

AMD was the first to incorporate Vapor chamber and now they would be the first GPU manufacturer to add water cooling as a reference design.

Unfortunately, the Gaming Evolved overlay launch problem still exists, as does the workaround.

PCIe 4.0 Will Still Deliver 75W of Slot Power

by Scott Michaud |

The main advantage of the standard will be extra bandwidth, about double that of PCIe 3.0, not easing cable management or making it easier to design a graphics card (by making it harder to design a motherboard).
The slot will still only provide 75W of power; any other power will still need to come from external connectors.
With performance that rivals the GTX 1080 Founders Edition, and sometimes even beats it, the MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G represents even better value for money than its bigger and sometimes faster big brother.
It doesn't matter how many games you throw at the MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G; nothing will make those fans start making any noticeable noise.

I thought we'd squeeze more out of the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G thanks to its 8+6-pin power design, but we didn't push much further than the fastest Boost clock available.
