Still, 30-40FPS in today's games isn't too bad - and as I said, with some adjustments to in-game visual settings, 60FPS isn't too far away.

ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 Turbo 6GB Graphics Card Review

by Ryan Shrout |
www.pcper.com
As mentioned throughout the article, the sound output from the ASUS Turbo card is higher than we might like, but it's well within range of other reference designs like the RX 480 and the GTX 1070 Founders Edition.
The motherboard slot is only pulling 60 watts at peak, with the 6-pin connection hitting 64 watts or so.
And again for the graphics card itself, with the front of the GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G identical to the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 cards, but the lack of an SLI connector is noticed.
The Twin Frozr VI cooler is very efficient, keeping the card both cool, and quiet.

NVIDIA Officially Announces GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Edition

by Sebastian Peak |
www.pcper.com
The two versions will be designated only by their memory size, and no other capacities of either card are forthcoming.
As to performance, NVIDIA says the 6GB version holds a 5% performance advantage over this lower-cost version, which at $199 is 20% less expensive than the previous GTX 1060 6GB.
While VR growth still has a long way to go to reach the levels we hope they will, this NVIDIA launch will make the idea of portable VR gaming even more attractive and accessible than ever before.
Despite the improvement that Polaris made on the GCN architecture, Pascal is still more powerful and more power efficient than anything AMD has been able to product.
