While the technical aspects of the cooler are certainly nice, it cannot compete with NVIDIA's reference design cooler visually, which is without a doubt the best-looking one in the industry.

The EVGA ACX cooler does look nice, but I still don't think it can compete with the NVIDIA reference design cooler and its large shiny metal surfaces.

Reviews Word on the street for the GeForce GTX 780

9.3
Overclocking works very well and reaches the highest clocks of all GTX 780 cards we tested so far.

What People Are Saying Give it to me straight

Performance

It's easy to stay below 80°C with a fan that sounds like a leaf blower, but EVGA picked decent fan settings that are just as quiet as the reference cooler without falling into the 80°C performance hole.
by techPowerUp!
When looking at performance, we see the GTX 780 not too far behind the GTX Titan; the difference is 7% when averaged out over our benchmarks.
by techPowerUp!
While I can't blame Gigabyte, the price is definitely too high when looking at the delivered performance.
by techPowerUp!

Multi card

Two SLI connectors are available, which would allow you to combine up to four GTX 780 cards in a Triple-SLI, multi-GPU configuration.

by techPowerUp!

Applications

It's with the triple-monitor 5760x1080 (3D Vision Surround), where the GTX 780 SLI really shines, as the second card provides a performance cushion that doesn't allow frame-rates to drop below playable levels on some of the more visually intense titles, such as Crysis 3, Battlefield 3, etc..
by techPowerUp!
Having been released on next-gen consoles first, the game will use loads of video memory with Ultra Textures enabled, along with DirectX 11, tessellation and advanced shader and lighting effects.
by techPowerUp!
The card is also almost inaudible in idle, which is great if you work a lot and game rarely.
by techPowerUp!

Gaming

If you have that much money to spend, the GTX 780 is definitely a great choice, and you should definitely consider the MSI GTX 780 GAMING.
by techPowerUp!
When gaming, fan speed will increase to keep the card cool, but the card is still really quiet.
by techPowerUp!
EVGA also includes an additional game, "Rise of the Triad," bringing the game bundle up to four titles.
by techPowerUp!

Price

It is available online for € 560, which is cheaper than many reference designs from other manufacturers, making it one of the cheapest GTX 780s on the market - despite the large overclock out of the box.
by techPowerUp!
If the GTX 780 is too expensive for you, the GTX 770 comes at quite competitive pricing, and it still packs enough punch to handle all titles at full HD.
by techPowerUp!
Pricing is reasonable with just a $10 price premium over the reference design bringing the price of the MSI GTX 780 GAMING to $660.

I ended up buying a Radeon R9 280x with Mac boot screen mod. It worked well and gave great resolution and colors on gaming, BUT it was so noisy I had to remove it and send it back for a refund. I was so used to the quiet low powered GPU ( Radeon HD 4870) . People who have a Mac Pro should realize these high powered units have to have big fans.
Looking to see if its what I need for my Mac Pro 2009 5,1 unit.
Lucky bastards lol
Моя видяха на Высоте ))) 780

Me too !! Look awesome !
Yay me to :D
