The cooling system on the new Ares II is something that we have not seen so far as it combines a closed-loop water cooling system with 120mm radiator and two push-pull fans with a standard 80mm air cooling on the card itself.

It’s a pretty neat touch and it's easy enough to use, but in practice, I found it was much faster to manually key in our selections (in the fields to the right of the heat map) instead of using the 2D heat map.

Other than the smaller size to allow compatibility with a wider array of small enclosures, the GTX 960 Mini also features an overclocked core and promises "20% cooler and vastly quieter" performance from its custom heatsink and CoolTech fan.
ASUS has reused this image from the GTX 970 Mini launch, and so have I.

The AnandTech Guide to Video Card Overclocking Software

by Michael Wilding |
www.anandtech.com
In conclusion, there really is a lot to like with EVGA's newest version of Precision X. It's their best looking interface to date, offers a robust monitoring system, has a fantastic OSD option, enables GPU voltage adjustment, offers monitor overclocking, and has a ton of other useful features.
However, true feature parity would require EVGA to recreate features that Nicolaychuk had originally developed over a number of years, so Precision X 16 still isn’t quite as comprehensive a utility as Precision X 4.2 was, as we will uncover when delving further into the utility.

Despite the passive design, Zotac even managed to slightly raise the GPU clocks to 1033MHz base and 1111MHz GPU Boost clocks on its GTX 750 Zone Edition.
While most Nvidia partners were busy with announcing an entry-level Geforce GT 720 graphics card, Zotac has decided that it is the right time to unveils its new passive Geforce GTX 750 graphics card, the Zotac Geforce GTX 750 Zone Edition.

Massive surge in Litecoin mining leads to graphics card shortage

by Joel Hruska |
www.extremetech.com
That’s still a significant gap, but it’s better than the BTC situation, where the 680 hit just 130 MHash compared to the R9 290X’s 874MHash/s..
Nvidia users may also take note — the gap between Nvidia and AMD cards in Litecoin mining is slightly smaller than with Bitcoin, with the GTX 770 capable of up to 240 KHash/s (yes, we’re back to KHash, from MHash) as compared to about 880 KHash/s for the R9 290X.
