The memory overclock is amazing too, over 20% out of GDDR3 already running at more than 1 GHz is very impressive.

NVIDIA's HDMI Audio design requires you to feed an audio signal to the card so it can be added to the HDMI Video stream from the card.

What People Are Saying Give it to me straight

Memory

If you look closely you can see that two memory cooling spots are not populated which accounts for the memory difference from 1024 MB to 896 MB (compared to the GTX280).
by techPowerUp! (Sep, 2008)
Maybe Zotac limited their clock speeds in order to not hurt the GTX 280 sales too much.
by techPowerUp! (Sep, 2008)
Maybe the GPU or memory are running at a lower voltage which reduces the power consumption.
by techPowerUp! (Sep, 2008)

Performance

Under idle the card is a bit noisier than the other cards in this performance range.
by techPowerUp! (Sep, 2008)
It seems the combination of increased shaders and increased clocks is a winning team because our benchmarks show the GTX 260 AMP² Edition only 1% behind the regular GeForce GTX 280 - which still costs over $130 more.
by techPowerUp! (Sep, 2008)

Price

Now the prices have come down so far that the GTX 260 and HD 4870 are identical when considering.
by techPowerUp! (Sep, 2008)
9.2Back at the launch of the GTX 260 and GTX 280 the cards were too expensive to be able to compete with AMD's latest offerings at the time.
by techPowerUp! (Sep, 2008)

Applications

A one percent difference in gaming is so small that you will never notice it during game play.
by techPowerUp! (Sep, 2008)

Temperature

Slightly higher temperatures for less noise would be very acceptable I think.
