Combined with AMD's ZeroCore and Power Gating technology, the HD 7000M series is setting up to be a very power efficient platform.
by Doug-Crowthers (Apr, 2012)
We expect the new "Mars" parts to be more power efficient than the outgoing Thames/Turks cores, thanks to the shrink to a 28nm process.

There is also one more major hint, the 870M is present and defined in the Techpowerup database, but we can clearly see that the latest version is not properly recognizing the chip at all.

AMD Reveals First Mobile Radeon M200 Parts & Rebadges

by Ryan Smith |
In recent years this has especially been the case for laptop/mobile graphics thanks to the larger volume and higher levels of integration as found on those parts, though this does have the unfortunate side effect of meaning GPU announcements get caught up in the deluge of announcements coming out of CES.
Moving on to our second confirmed product, we have a new low end SKU called the R5 M230.
AMD’s Kaveri APUs would feature the latest core architecture along with enhanced GCN graphics on a single die package.
This means that higher frequency DDR3 memory just might come in handy with Kaveri APUs to unleash the full potential of the graphics core.
You can even CrossFire the HD 7970 if you wanted to, but a single HD 7970 is actually more than capable for most games out right now, even games like Battlefield 3 or Crysis 3.
