In recent years this has especially been the case for laptop/mobile graphics thanks to the larger volume and higher levels of integration as found on those parts, though this does have the unfortunate side effect of meaning GPU announcements get caught up in the deluge of announcements coming out of CES.
Moving on to our second confirmed product, we have a new low end SKU called the R5 M230.
AMD’s Kaveri APUs would feature the latest core architecture along with enhanced GCN graphics on a single die package.
This means that higher frequency DDR3 memory just might come in handy with Kaveri APUs to unleash the full potential of the graphics core.
Boost Clock allows the GPU to turbo up to a higher clockspeed so long as the GPU is under its power and temperature limits, allowing AMD to scrape every bit of thermal headroom from their GPUs.
All of these GPUs are based on the Heathrow GPU (desktop name: Cape Verde), packing 640 Stream Processors along with 40 texture units and 16 ROPs.

Enduro is an NVIDIA Optimus-like tech which switches between discrete and integrated GPUs while the ZeroCore tech can completely power down GPUs when they're not needed.
We're set to stare down the barrel of 640 GCN stream processors, GPU clocks ranging between 650-700MHz and memory clocks of around 4.5GHz.
