AMD Hawaii-based GPU has unused streaming processors available

by Anthony Garreffa |
www.tweaktown.com
Right now, AMD has one of the fastest GPUs on the market with its Radeon R9 290X, and it would be even better with a third-party HSF, like the one we see on the very impressive SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290X Tri-X GPUs.
Clock speeds and stream processor count remain a mystery until announcement of the Curacao GPU architecture tonight.
We already took a look at the Curacao Pro ‘R7-270‘ graphics card when it leaked a few days back and noticed that it takes a single 6-Pin connector to power which hints at a maximum TDP of 150W.
