Ray tracing has become a stronghold for GPUs in recent years as ray tracing maps well to GPU pipelines, allowing artists to render scenes much more quickly than with CPUs alone.

Like its processor, Last Light is a game that sets a high bar for visual quality, and at its highest settings an equally high bar for system requirements thanks to its advanced lighting system.

Intel Iris Pro 5200 Graphics Review: Core i7-4950HQ Tested

by Anand Lal Shimpi |
www.anandtech.com
Given the potential use as a very large CPU cache, it’s a bit insane that Intel won’t even offer a single K-series SKU with Crystalwell on-board.
iGPUs aren’t going to have quite enough power to use its marquee feature – DirectCompute accelerated hair physics (TressFX) – however even without it the game still looks quite good at its lower settings, while providing a challenge for our iGPUs.

OpenCL And CUDA Are Go: GeForce GTX Titan, Tested In Pro Apps

by Igor Wallossek |
www.tomshardware.com
It wasn't possible to run a number of tests for the launch because Nvidia's drivers weren't working in most of the non-gaming titles we tried.
Nvidia's GK110-based flagship isn't exactly consistent; it fares worse in some benchmarks compared to others, particularly when complex wire meshes and shading are used.
