The A6X is the chip to beat in terms of GPU performance and we’re not sure the next generation of SoCs from Samsung, Qualcomm and Nvidia will have what it takes.
by Peter-Scott (Jan, 2013)
Nvidia, Intel and AMD have enthusiast CPU and GPUs that are so powerful that, when combined with SSDs and fast memory, they absolutely trounce the computing power and gaming capabilities of the newest console generation.

In The News From around the web

Roy Taylor has emphatically stated that the FX line of AMD CPUs has been very successful & tremendously popular & that AMD will continue to be dedicated to the high-end CPU market & not just APUs, saying.
This must be music to every enthusiast’s ears, a strong AMD back in the fistfight (figuratively) with Intel means faster cheaper CPUs for everybody.
I myslef am a Console Gamer primarily but I see the need for Developers to get over the PC complex and start treating platforms equally, just like the demise of PC Gaming is greatly exaggerated, similarly consoles cannot and will not be abandoned just because the same game is available on PC.
In everything that is currently going on in the gaming industry concerning the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, it looks like PC gaming is somewhat fading away from the media front, but despite the gradual decline in demand for home PC hardware, the market for gaming specific PC hardware is actually doing really well.

Some NVIDIA R337.50 Driver Controversy

by Scott Michaud |
www.pcper.com
Now that it is out, multiple sources are claiming the vendor-supplied benchmarks are exaggerated or simply untrue.
Ironically, the launch of the Radeon R9 295 X2 video card might have lessened that number of benchmarks available for NVIDIA's driver, who knows?

Win 1 of 5 EVGA Pro SLI Bridges!!

by Ryan Shrout |
www.pcper.com
These are much more than just the standard SLI bridge that you know of today: they are sleek, have a brushed metal finish and if you have GTX 700-series or TITAN graphics card, they light up as well!
Because EVGA is a big supporter of PC Perpsective, they are sending over a handful of the 3-Way Pro SLI Bridges (that can also be used in 2-Way configurations) to give away to our readers.
