Only in a handful of setups can we even run Crysis 3 at its highest (Very High) settings, and that’s still without AA.

AMD Projects Decreased Revenue by 8% for Q2 2015

by Scott Michaud |
Q3 will count two of the launch months for Windows 10, which will likely include a bunch of new and interesting devices and aligns well with back to school season.
Well, now an enthusiast called K-putt has used a hacked Crysis 3 executable to run the game at 8K — and I’m not being hyperbolic when I say that the resultant screenshots are probably the most beautiful examples of real-time computer-generated graphics that I’ve ever seen.
As you’re probably well aware, ever since Crysis was first released in 2007, it has been the benchmark for graphics card performance and beautiful real-time visuals.
If these benchmarks are true, and it looks like they are, it reveals why Nvidia didn’t bother creating a rival API to Mantle but instead increased optimized their graphics card for the DirectX 11 API in a way that performance can be obtained from a simple driver update.
During the event, NVIDIA presented several benchmark slides which show how the company has improved efficiency of their graphics cards in several DirectX 11 titles and still aiming to deliver more improvements through driver updates.

AMD releases Catalyst 13.11 Beta8 driver

by Slobodan Simic |
AMD has lived up to its promise and released a new Catalyst 13.11 Beta8 driver that should fix the crash seen in Battlefield 4 running on Windows 8 OS.
It is quite surprising that AMD had a problem with Battlefield 4 considering its deal and close cooperation with EA/DICE on the title.
