HBM2 is the memory technology that will be used on Radeon RX Vega, offering some great bandwidth numbers of up to 512GB/sec - but it'll be the memory footprint that makes the difference.

Or should you rather opt for the HTC Advance to save you plenty of bucks in case your device gets broken or damaged?

Polaris was destined to be the new mid-range champion, and it became that - but not without multiple problems along the way.
NVIDIA continued pummel AMD with the push of the GeForce GTX 980 Ti, and then AMD began teasing its Polaris GPU architecture - months after the company spun off its GPU division into Radeon Technologies Group.
It's also an incredibly confusing naming scheme that NVIDIA has adopted, but before I get into that - let's look at NVIDIA's previous TITAN X graphics cards, and their official (and unofficial) names.
AMD will thump down its new Vega architecture with a truly next-gen series of graphics cards in the Radeon RX Vega family, led by HBM2 and HBC technologies.

AMD Lists Radeon RX 490 Graphics Card, New APUs in Gaming Promo

AMD's current "We're in the Game" promotion offers a glimpse at upcoming product names, including the Radeon RX 490 graphics card, and the new Bristol Ridge APUs.
It seems safe to assume that the new products listed - including the Radeon RX 490 - are close to release, though details on the high-end Polaris GPU are not mentioned.
While we already did a drop, scratch and water test to see if the smartphone could sustain a few hits here and there; iFixit’s One M8 teardown would show you what to expect realistically when you have a broken or damaged HTC One M8.
IFixit also notes that the repair work is made harder by the use of copious amounts of tape, adhesive, and copper shielding.
